सरकार का रेलटेल कॉर्पोरेशन में आईपीओ के जरिए अपनी 25 फीसदी हिस्सेदारी बेचने पर विचार

सरकार रेलटेल कॉर्पोरेशन में आईपीओ के जरिए अपनी 25 फीसदी हिस्सेदारी बेचने पर विचार कर रही है, जिसके लिए सरकार ने आईपीओ के प्रबंधन के लिए मर्चेंट बैंकरों से बोलियां मांगी हैं और उन्हें 11 जून तक आवेदन करने के लिए कहा गया है. आईपीओ के प्रबंधन की जिम्मेदारी 3 मर्चेंट बैंकरों को सौंपी जाएगी.

रेलटेल कॉर्पोरेशन रेल मंत्रालय के तहत आता है. इस कंपनी का पेड-अप शेयर कैपिटल 320.92 करोड़ रुपये है, वित वर्ष 2017-2018 में कंपनी का कर बाद मुनाफा (PAT) 156 करोड़ रुपये था. रेलटेल की नेट वर्थ 1,249 करोड़ रुपये बताई जा रही है और रेलटेल देश की सबसे बड़ी टेलिकॉम इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर कंपनियों में शुमार है. रेलटेल को मिनीरत्न का दर्जा प्राप्त है.

सरकार ने पिछले ही महीने रेल विकास निगम की 12 फीसदी हिस्सेदारी बेचकर 476 करोड़ रुपये जुटाए थे और यह एकमात्र कंपनी है, जिसके पास रेलवे ट्रैक के साथ-साथ ऑप्टिक फाइबर नेटवर्क बिछाने का विशेष राइट ऑफ वे (RoW) है. रेलटेल को मिनीरत्न का दर्जा प्राप्त है.

केंद्र सरकार ने वित्त वर्ष 2019-20 में विनिवेश से 90,000 करोड़ रुपये जुटाने का लक्ष्य रखा है. वित्त वर्ष 2018-19 में सरकारी कंपनियों के विनिवेश के जरिए सरकार ने 84,972 करोड़ रुपये जुटाए थे.
