The possibility of the victory of the NDA alliance led to the rise of 15% in the shares of these two companies

The NDA alliance's winning streak helped Adani Group gain 15 per cent and the rally in the shares of Reliance Industries.


Lok Sabha Election 2019: The BJP-led NDA alliance's winning streak in the Lok Sabha elections is witnessing a sharp rise in the shares of companies of Reliance ADA Group headed by Adani Group, Reliance Industries and Anil Ambani. The highest 15 percent growth was seen in Adani Enterprises.

Adani Group shares up 15 per cent
The shares of Adani Enterprises, the flagship company of Adani Group, opened up to Rs 165 against the closing price of 158 rupees a day ago and after the trend of NDA's favor, 15 percent in the morning rose to over Rs 180 after 10.30 in the morning. However, later profit-booking was seen and the company's share is currently trading at Rs 170.10 with a firm strength of 8%.
The shares of Adani Ports, the second largest company of Adani Group, got a strong opening and reached around 431 with 12 per cent strong up till 10.30. At present, the stock is trading at 7% and is trading at Rs 413.

RIL up to 4 percent strong
At the same time, the shares of Reliance Industries (RIL) owned by Mukesh Ambani rose more than a day before the closing price of 1340, to 1352 and in a while it rose 4 percent to 1392 level. However, RIL's share is currently trading at 2, 1,277.85 with a rise of 2%.
Apart from this, shares of companies owned by Anil Ambani also remain in green mark. Reliance Capital stands at around Rs. 133.30 with an increase of about 4 per cent. Reliance Communications, Reliance Power, has seen an increase of 2 to 3 per cent.

Oil prices fall on rising US rig count, Illinois refinery fire

US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures were at $51.92 per barrel at 0144 GMT, down 80 cents, or 1.5 percent, from their last settlement. Oil prices fell by more than 1 percent on Monday as US drilling activity picked up and as a refinery fire in the US state of Illinois resulted in the shutdown of a large crude distillation unit. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures were at $51.92 per barrel at 0144 GMT, down 80 cents, or 1.5 percent, from their last settlement. International Brent crude oil futures were down 71 cents, or 1.1 percent, at $61.39 a barrel. In the United States, energy firms last week increased the number of oil rigs operating for the second time in three weeks, a weekly report by Baker Hughes said on Friday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 178.74 points, or 0.73 percent, to 24,285.95, the S&P 500 lost 17.37 points, or 0.66 percent, to 2,632.56 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 33.27 points, or 0.48 percent, to 6,938.98.
