Buy Phoenix Mills; target of Rs 785: Motilal Oswal

Motilal Oswal is bullish on Phoenix Mills has recommended buy rating on the stock with a target price of Rs 785 in its research report dated May 16, 2019. Motilal Oswal's research report on Phoenix Mills Revenue grew 66% YoY to INR7,232m (our estimate: INR4,839m) in 4QFY19, driven by revenue recognition of INR3,170m in Kessaku, Bengaluru. EBITDA increased 74% YoY to INR3,771m (our estimate: INR2,419m), with the margin expanding 260bp YoY to 52% (our estimate: 50%). Adj. PAT grew over 100% YoY to INR1,879m, higher than our estimate of INR655m, led by profits from kessaku recognition. For FY19, revenue grew 22% to INR19.8b, EBITDA increased 28% to INR9.9b and PAT was up 97% to INR4.7b. Outlook We value PHNX’s retail assets based on the DCF-based NAV approach, assuming a cap rate of 8.5% (HSP - 8%) and a discount rate of 13.5%. फ्ते के आखिरी दिन घरेलू शेयर बाजार कमजोर खुले. बाजारों पर विदेशी स्टॉक एक्सचेंजों में कमजोरी का असर पड़ा. गुरुवार को अमेरिकी स्टॉक एक्सचेंजों में कमजोरी आई थी. शुक्रवार को इसका असर भारत सहित एशियाई बाजारों पर देखने को मिला. गुरुवार को यूरोपीय सेंट्रल बैंक (ECB) ने यूरोपीय देशों की ग्रोथ घटने का अनुमान जताया है. इधर, रुपये में शुक्रवार को कमजोरी दिखी. हालांकि गुरुवार को रुपया अच्छी तेजी के साथ बंद हुआ था. सुबह करीब 9:30 बजे बीएसई का 30 शेयरों वाला सेंसेक्स 48 अंक यानी 0.13 फीसदी गिरकर 36,677 अंक पर कारोबार कर रहा था. एनएसई का 50 शेयरों वाला निफ्टी50 भी 27 अंक यानी 0.24 फीसदी की कमजोरी के साथ 11,032 अंक पर था. शुरुआती कारोबार में बीएसई मिडकैप और स्मॉलकैप इंडेक्स में थोड़ी तेजी दिखी. एशियाई शेयर बाजारों पर ईसीबी के पूर्वानुमान का काफी असर देखने को मिला. केंद्रीय बैंक ने ग्रोथ का अनुमान घटाने के साथ ही खर्च बढ़ाने की पॉलिसी पेश की है. इससे निवेशकों को फिर से मंदी का डर सताने लगा है. इससे चलते जापान और ऑस्ट्रेलिया सहित कई एशियाई शेयर बाजारों में कमजोरी देखने को मिली. सु...

Silver futures surge 0.29% on global cues

Silver for delivery in May traded higher by Rs 111, or 0.29 percent, at Rs 38,563 per kg in a business turnover of 18,071 lots at the Multi Commodity Exchange. Silver futures traded higher by 0.29 percent at Rs 38,563 per kg on Wednesday after speculators raised bets, driven by a firm trend overseas. Silver for delivery in May traded higher by Rs 111, or 0.29 percent, at Rs 38,563 per kg in a business turnover of 18,071 lots at the Multi Commodity Exchange. Similarly, the white metal to be delivered in July rose by Rs 108, or 0.28 percent, to Rs 39,155 per kg in 204 lots. Analysts said widening of positions by traders in sync with a firm trend on global markets for precious metals influenced silver prices at futures trade here. Gold hovers near five-week lows as firm dollar, trade optimism dent appeal

Spot gold was up 0.2 percent to $1,288.46 per ounce as of 0552 GMT, after slipping to $1,282.50 in the previous session, its lowest since Jan. 25. Gold prices were steady on Tuesday, trading near five-week lows touched in the previous session, as a firmer dollar and optimism over a likely U.S.-China trade deal dented the safe-haven appeal of the precious metal. Spot gold was up 0.2 percent to $1,288.46 per ounce as of 0552 GMT, after slipping to $1,282.50 in the previous session, its lowest since Jan. 25. U.S. gold futures also advanced 0.2 percent to $1,289.80 per ounce. Bidding for the 10th round of City Gas Distribution (CGD) licenses closed on February 5. As many as 225 bids were received for a license to retail CNG to automobiles and piped natural gas to households in 50 geographical areas (GAs) offered in the 10th City Gas Distribution bidding round, the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) said in a statement. Bidding for the 10th round of City Gas Distribution (CGD) licences closed on February 5. "The technical bids would be opened between February 7 and 9," it said adding licenses would be awarded by month end.
