26 stocks hit 52-week high on NSE

In the March 11, 2019 season, nearly 26 stocks increased to touch its 26-week high on the NSE.


Today's research has found some 26 stocks, which is at the higher level of the NSE, from a few weeks, 45 shares were traded in green in the Nifty 50 index, while 5 were trading in red, in which the value of red stock was declining The green color is indicating an increase in the value of the stock.

Shares that touched their 52-week high level were Aarti Drugs, Adani Gas, Allahabad Bank NSE 0.87%, Arvind Fashion, Axis Bank, Bajaj Holdings and Investors.

CaneBill Retail, Chalet Hotels, Gujarat Fluorochemicals, Inox Leisure, IPCA Laboratories, Muthoot Finance, PI Industries, UPL and RBL Bank have also got a good position in those stocks which touched their 52-week high on the NSE.

On the other hand, Diligent Media Corporation, Gitanjali Gems, ICRA, Mask Investments, Vimal Oil & Foods and Panoramic Universal have got the biggest jump in their stock in the latest week.
Benchmark NSE Nifty Index was trading 111.40 points at 11,146.80, while the BSE Sensex was trading 318.39 points at 36,989.82.

Overall, 45 shares were trading in securities in the Nifty 50 index, while 5 were trading in unsafe.
Nifty 50 indices were included in HPCL, Coal India Limited, BPCL, Indian Oil Corp and Bharti Infratel Top Turner.

While IndusInd Bank, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and Cipla were trading in Red

Oil prices fall on rising US rig count, Illinois refinery fire

US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures were at $51.92 per barrel at 0144 GMT, down 80 cents, or 1.5 percent, from their last settlement. Oil prices fell by more than 1 percent on Monday as US drilling activity picked up and as a refinery fire in the US state of Illinois resulted in the shutdown of a large crude distillation unit. In the United States, energy firms last week increased the number of oil rigs operating for the second time in three weeks, a weekly report by Baker Hughes said on Friday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 178.74 points, or 0.73 percent, to 24,285.95, the S&P 500 lost 17.37 points, or 0.66 percent, to 2,632.56 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 33.27 points, or 0.48 percent, to 6,938.98. US stocks closed lower in a shortened post-holiday trading session on Friday as the energy sector tumbled on continued weakness in oil prices, and the benchmark S&P 500 confirmed its second correction of 2018. The three major US indexes all fell well over 3 percent for the week, with the Dow industrial and the Nasdaq posting their biggest weekly percentage declines since March.
